Ranking the Strongest Teachers at Jujutsu High’s in Jujutsu Kaisen

Ranking the Strongest Teachers at Jujutsu High’s in Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen has a number of characters which have made the anime/manga very popular with many of them being unique in terms of their personality and also their fighting ability. Jujutsu sorcery is a useful ability and talent to possess and improve, let alone there are few people who can become a full-fledged sorcerer who is ready to battle curses.

Most of the jujutsu sorcerers attend jujutsu high school where young sorcerers practise with their magical skills while studying under teachers. Most of these teachers are significantly powerful jujutsu sorcerers during the present time, where each one of them has enough fighting experience to fight on their own.

Akari Nitta: A Field Sorcerer with Really Sharp Senses

As the auxiliary manager at Tokyo Jujutsu High School, Akari Nitta takes care of students who do official jujutsu sorcery errands when out in public all over Japan. However, the character does not showcase her skills as a sorcerer, but Akari is always assigned life-endangering missions, the character is assigned to monitor students during the Shibuya Incident arc.

She displays great responsibility where she is serious while at the same time caring for students like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki when in the field.

Shoko Ieiri: A Sorcerer Who Knows How to Use Rare Reversed Cursed Techniques

Shoko Ieiri was once classmates with Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto which placed her in between two of the most powerful jujutsu sorcerers of the modern world. Nevertheless, Shoko is a character who, knowing the abilities of a sorcerer, decides to become a healer, and in Tokyo Jujutsu High School, the doctor’s position is occupied by Shoko.

Shoko was described as going on missions with her classmates which implies that the sorcerer possessed some fighting abilities. But Shoko chooses to utilize her unique reverse cursed technique to become a doctor, and ends up helping many sorcerers in the process.

Kiyotaka Ijichi: A Shy Guy Who Can Summon Shikigami and Jujutsu Barriers

Kiyotaka Ijichi is a major character at Tokyo Jujutsu High School and serves as a director of the establishment, answering to the school’s principal Masamichi Yaga. Depicted as being often outplayed by the sorcerer supreme, Gojo, Ijichi is viewed as a figure in charge of students within the school’s hierarchy while the sorcerer occupies a similar position to Akari.

On the aspect of strength, Ijichi performs well because he is able to create jujutsu barriers and shikigami during missions, and the character is useful in different occasions in JJK. In the Cursed Child arc, fighting against Geto’s forces, Ijichi is ready to face two of Geto’s followers – Mimiko and Nanako Hasaba. However, as much as Ijichi appears as a soft-spoken and timid character, he is revealed to be quite efficient in the heat of battle.

Utahime Iori: A Sorcerer Who Boosts Cursed Energy Around Her

Utahime Iori is one of the characters of Jujutsu High School from Kyoto who is in charge of monitoring the growth of students like Aoi Todo and Mechamaru. Utahime is a semi-grade sorcerer, she has white hair with blond coloured tips in a half-ponytail, and she is quite portrayed in episodes as a raging and fearsome character. A good amount of her character development is due to Gojo, who is a nuisance to Utahime in both student and teacher roles.

While in combat, Utahime displays herself as a formidable warrior, which with the added assistance of a sorcerer, is ranked as a semi-grade one. In the Shibuya Incident arc, many of her students including Utahime assist Yuji in fighting against Kenjaku and Uraume where Utahime demonstrates her power in performance by saving Kasumi Miwa from one of the curses from Kenjaku.

Masamichi Yaga: A Sorcerer with the Power to Create Cursed Corpses

To Gojo and Geto such as others, Masamichi has been a familiar person, with whom they have been associated for many years even from their student era. Formerly a teacher, Principal Masamichi ascended to his position by being a famous sorcerer and attaining grade one level through the use of cursed corpses.

In this case, Masamichi demonstrated outstanding skills in the creation of corpses, as the sorcerer was able to create Panda, a cursed energy corpse with genuine thoughts and emotions, akin to that of a human being. Although Masamichi has been defeated by Gakuganji in the one-on-one battle, he can fight fairly to destroy Gakuganji’s guitar, and demonstrate the extreme power until his death.

Yoshinobu Gakuganji: The Experienced Warrior Channelling Cursed Energy Waves

Despite his age Yoshinobu Gakuganji must be one of the strongest enough members of the faculty, the undeniable experience makes him a very powerful sorcerer. Serving as both the principal of the Kyoto Jujutsu High School and a part of the higher-ups in the jujutsu world, Gakuganji wields a significant amount of influence in the latter, which is why Gakuganji can order Sorcerers around without much resistance from them.

In the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc, Gakuganji demonstrates his aspect of his technique where he uses his guitar to produce sounds that form cursed energy which can be sent in waves to target people. Standing before strong opponents, Gakuganji easily overcomes Masamichi Yaga, a grade one sorcerer, in combat thereby revealing his power as a sorcerer.

Atsuya Kusakabe: Choosing Physical Skill Over Innate Technique

Atsuya Kusakabe serves as the teacher of second-year students Panda, Maki Zenin, and Toge Inumaki, which means that he actively helps in the students’ growth as jujutsu sorcerers. Kusakabe is a great swordsman, as well as powerful and fast with his weapon, which means that Mei-Mei, Gojo, and Kento Nanami consider Kusakabe the strongest grade-one sorcerer.

In the Shibuya Incident arc, Kusakabe is crucial, and in the battle against Kenjaku and Uraume, he retrieves Miwa from the brink of death. Despite the portrayal as a nervous and tense character, Kusakabe, the sorcerer, can accurately judge the strength level of the opponent and know if he can kill the man in under a minute.

Satoru Gojo: A Sorcerer of Great Power, Heir to the Six Eyes and the Limitless Technique

In Jujutsu Kaisen, there is no character whose opinion matters and whom people turn to more than Gojo, a sorcerer with the burden of the world. Being the most powerful sorcerer out there, Gojo fights the new generation of curses to the best of his abilities as a teacher in Tokyo Jujutsu High School to prepare the next generation of sorcerers who have to stay on the front line together with him.

Gojo is otherworldly in terms of his strengths as a sorcerer, where Gojo takes down notorious villains such as Jogo, Hanami, and even the weakened Sukuna who is the king of curses. As over-enthusiastic and goofy as Gojo can be for a walking meme, the man can definitely rub people the wrong way at times but that does not change the fact that Gojo is one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers of all time.

Sorcerers Who Never Reached Their Peak in Jujutsu Kaisen – The Fallen Stars!

Sorcerers Who Never Reached Their Peak in Jujutsu Kaisen – The Fallen Stars!

The franchise of Jujutsu Kaisen has introduced the fans to quite many powerful characters over the time. Sorcerers have come and gone in JJK but few manage to get to an extraordinary degree of power. Indeed, there are many people, who, by birth, possess exceedingly high capacity for jujutsu.

However, this potential cannot always be realised in them and this is because most of the sorcerers often die way before they can achieve their full potential. At the same time, many are not even developed in the story, which results in stagnation of their progress.

In the series of Jujutsu Kaisen, fans have seen a bunch of sorcerers who either did not develop, or who died and thus could not evolve and reach the potential they had in them.

Megumi Fushiguro: The Gifted Sorcerer of the Zenin Clan

Megumi Fushiguro is one of the characters I find to be incredibly talented. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that he could be regarded as one of the most powerful sorcerers of his generation. In fact, Megumi exhibits a potency that is even greater than that. In the series, Gojo says that he can potentially achieve the same level of strength as him in the future.

But Megumi failed to realise his potential, and this can be attributed to the fact that Sukuna simply transferred his soul into Megumi’s body with the intention of using his body for reincarnation.

Since then, he has not been directly involved in the plot as a character, but has only acted as the host to Sukuna. The story is also very near the end and it can hardly come out that Megumi will eventually be able to realise the potential that he had with him but is deeply hidden.

Mai Zenin: Neglected Figure in the Zenin Clan

Mai Zenin was quite a skilled individual in the series although she was not in the league of the most powerful characters. Mai Zenin was born in a Zenin family, she had to endure much in order to look and feel like a beautiful and strong woman to meet the requirements of the society.

Mai tried to do as much as she could, and her efforts are understandable given that she was living in a society that did not accept her and women.

Mai had the cursed technique of Construction . Despite the fact that she could not put it into practise to a greater extent, this technique was rather powerful and this was proved further by the actions of Yorozu at some point.

If Mai was able to realise the full prowess of this cursed technique and produce the domain expansion as demonstrated by Yorozu, she could have been among the most formidable characters of the modern generation. Unfortunately, she was killed as a kind of tit for tat retribution on behalf of her sister, Maki.

Noritoshi Kamo of the Big Three Families

At the start of the anime show Jujutsu Kaisen, it was possible to get a feeling that Noritoshi Kamo was to be a rather significant character. This was due to the fact that he was among the members of Kamo Clan, which would later on rise to fame. He was also expected to perform the same duty just like Megumi, and he would later become a representative of his clan.

However, Noritoshi Kamo was left out from the story and this was mainly because of the fact that the writer had directed the plot to centre on specific people only and the rest got completely sidelined. In the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, he hardly participated in the events at all.

This means that he has stopped developing as a user of blood manipulation and is limited to what he already knows. Instead, Choso has been the better user of blood manipulation and at the same time, has been of better use in the story.

    Kenjaku: The Sinister Presence

Despite all this, JJK has one of the most disappointing characters out of all the characters, and that is Kenjaku. Compared to all the characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, Kenjaku was one of the primary antagonists.

Moreover, there were many people who regarded him as an even worse villain than Sukuna. Still, for some inexplicable reason, the author just offended Kenjaku in the most anticlimactic manner possible.

This way, the character was unable to construct a proper villain arc, and thus, Kenjaku also left without a proper send-off. He had a more significant part to play in Jujutsu Kaisen, however, he could not demonstrate his potential strength, moreover, he could not achieve his actual objectives on his own.

Nobara Kugisaki’s Mastery of the Straw Doll Technique

Nobara is one of the main characters of JJK, and she was shown in the series from the beginning. She wanted to become a powerful sorcerer, and she did seem like she had the raw talent in her. Nobara evolved together with Megumi and Yuji, however, while two of them became powerful members of the group, Nobara didn’t and it was purely because the author decided to kill her off in the most brutal of ways.

However, the death of Nobara is one of the issues that were dealt with extremely badly by the author and it is possible to state that her potential is fully wasted, as she was one of the main characters.

As for Nobara, she could have been developed into a powerful sorcerer, probably the second most powerful in the series if not the first among the females, but the author never provided her with a chance to do so.

A Breakdown of Higuruma Hiromi’s Cursed Technique In Jujutsu Kaisen

A Breakdown of Higuruma Hiromi’s Cursed Technique In Jujutsu Kaisen

Hiromi Higuruma was a character introduced so late into the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen. The author also said about him in the introduction that he was lazy and bored with living, but after the meeting with Kashimo fans saw that their character had the second highest number of points in the entire game. When fighting Yuji and Sukuna, we were able to see his abilities on the whole for the first time. Higuruma’s powerful cursed technique and a domain expansion that throws a legal twist into the jujutsu battles.

Higuruma was a lawyer and he possessed a very strong Cursed Technique but it was completely different from the other sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. This technique not only helped him to overpower many hostile sorcerers but also enabled him to score the second highest points in the Culling Game. So, let me explain in detail the full potential of his Cursed Technique and why it made him that strong.

    Higuruma’s Role in Jujutsu Kaisen

If one remembers, Higuruma was a lawyer practicing in Japan until the events of the Culling Game went down. He was a brilliant defense attorney, who oftentimes, would accept a lot of complicated cases to defend the wrongly accused from having to spend time in jail, thus, was frequently dragged into the dark side of the law, despite his best efforts and strongest defense.

This made him give up on the justice system and go down a sort of depressive spiral, causing him to have a perpetually tired, bored expression on his face. However, Higuruma can only be described as a genius of sorts. At the time, Higuruma had access to his Cursed Technique for only two months, in which he not only memorized the technique but also studied the principles of Cursed Energy by himself and also had his Domain Expansion.

During the invasion in Shinjuku while Sukuna fights Gojo, the audience could see that Higuruma is one of the first to grasp the main idea of what Gojo wants, as well as other strategic maneuvers and terms connected to Jujutsu, despite knowing of its existence for only two months. When he finally faces Sukuna, he was taught Reverse Cursed Technique on the spot when the King of Curses provoked him and at one point of the battle, Higuruma was even complimented by Sukuna several times stating that the former is an equal match to Gojo.

    Higuruma’s Cursed Technique Explained

However, its core functionality revolves around a supernatural courtroom and a relentless pursuit of justice. Higuruma’s Cursed Technique is tied directly to the domain expansion and thus can be seen as different from other sorcerers. Thanks to his great intelligence and high amounts of Cursed Energy, he could understand the nature of his Domain after which he would be able to control his Cursed Energy and learn the fundamentals of Jujutsu.

Higuruma can also use Domain Amplification, as it is a sign of great mastery of the Domain, a phenomenon when Higuruma’s Domain spreads over his body like an aura. It enables the neutralization of techniques that his enemies try to use against him and is so masterful that it earns Sukuna’s comment that Higuruma uses it almost as effectively as how Sukuna employs his own.

In the same manner, there is an association between his Cursed Tool, which is his gavel and his Domain. This gavel is an extremely powerful tool and is a type of weapon which has other capabilities of a different type of weapon or tool if Higuruma wanted it. In his fight with Yuji, the gavel is depicted standard as a mallet, then a large scythe and finally a hook.

Even if the Domain Expansion is not underway in any shape or form, the gavel is Higuruma’s weapon of choice, striking the particular opponent. This Cursed Tool can be summoned at any point and is portable where it can switch from one hand to another in a blink of an eye.

    Higuruma’s Domain “Deadly Sentencing”

Deadly Sentencing or Higuruma’s Domain Expansion is the most powerful move in his arsenal and yet it is the center of his strategy that is backed up by the rest of his moves. The reason for this is that both Innate Cursed Technique and the Cursed Tool he employs in the fight are, by default, connected to the Domain. Concerning the Domain itself, it is already a small courtroom which on the outside is surrounded by guillotines. The place is equipped with only one podium for Higuruma and one for the defendant (the individual with whom he is fighting) and during the fight they are positioned across from each other.

Deadly Sentencing Domain, on the other hand, does not possess a strong obvious attack like what others Domains have. Instead of this, the Domain places a non-violence effect on everyone within the range, causing the barrier so no one is allowed to use any sort of violent action within the Domain or even deactivate the usage of anyone’s Cursed Technique while the Expansion is in effect. Anyone who attempts to avoid these rules by attacking is just sent back to his podium.

In addition to the defendant that the accused was protecting, besides any witnesses to the crime, there is another ‘Shikigami’ called Judgeman, behind Higuruma. This Shikigami knows absolutely everything about the defendant, though he shares nothing with Higuruma though giving him a sealed piece of evidence connected to the defendant and similarly, the defendant does not know what it is.

Within the Domain, Judgeman plays the role of the judge in the trial, and the outcome is in his hands; however, depending upon what Higuruma says in argument form, the decision depends on him, and the defendant’s aim is to eliminate all reasonable doubt in regard to his/her innocence.

As seen in the case of the two characters, Higuruma and the defendant are only given one final chance to make a final argument for Judgeman’s verdict in their favor. Upon receiving a verdict from the prosecution, a defendant can do any of the following: remain silent, admit to the crime or deny it at all.

If the defendant is accused of the crime and is innocent, then the defendant is simply released from the Domain. However, a guilty verdict has 2 sentences; either take their property or give them the death penalty. Getting his hands on the opponent for a moment turns off the Cursed Technique, if the opponent does not possess one, it robs them of using Cursed Energy for some time.

When the defendant who is a thief is found with a Cursed Tool on him and is captured within the premises of a court, the confiscation sentencing takes action on the tool as opposed to the Cursed Technique.

The death sentence is Higuruma’s Cursed Technique at its best. If the opponent has been declared guilty by Judgeman, the confiscation works the same as before, The heavy hammer which Higuruma used turns into the Executioner’s Sword, which is a weapon composed entirely of Cursed energy and has the ability to kill than kill anyone who gets cut by it instantly. If there are two souls or more in one target, the sword will affect only the guilty one and remove the others.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 265: Yuji's Risky Gamble Against Sukuna

What Happens to Yuta Okkotsu in Jujutsu Kaisen: Did Yuta Die?

Yuta Okkotsu is one of the most critical characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, and one that fans knew was even initially considered to be the protagonist of JJK0. Yuta has always had an incredibly amazing role to play in the story and this has always been loved by the fans as he is let to be involved in the many arcs of Jujutsu Kaisen series.

More particularly, during the Culling Game, the capacities of Yuta were revealed to the readers and, in the course of time, in the Shinjuku Showdown Arc, he introduced new aspects of himself, new powers, such as the domain expansion ability, and many others to the readers. Of course, in Shinjuku Showdown, Yuta did not impress with technique but with desire and will to fight. In order to eliminate Sukuna, Yuta even possessed Gojo’s body, and that plan essentially failed rather badly. Finally, the character’s life is in between, and the audience has no idea what will be done to their beloved person.

The Secret Behind Yuta Okkotsu’s Survival

Yuta Okkotsu is one of the leading characters of Jujutsu Kaisen and people expected that he would deliver something big in the last part of the arc. While staying active and attacking Sukuna merely with his own body and own methods, Yuta managed to do more than enough which is why even after receiving a World Splitting Dismantle, he did not want to remain still. Yuta thought that he wanted to continue fighting and that is why he had prepared a copy of Kenjaku’s technique. After receiving Kenjaku’s powers, Yuta seized control over Gojo’s body, and brought this body to the battlefield to deal a fatal blow to the King of Curses. This was a big move from Yuta because it showed how much he was willing to go through to avenge the death of his Sensei.

Yuta was excellent in this fight and even grew his domain, while at the same time, he minimised it to the size of a ball as Gojo did. He was even able to shoot a Hollow Purple. Unfortunately, however, this Hollow Purple was not enough to inflict terminal damage on Sukuna. Yuta could have continued the fight and most probably defeated Copy but Copy also could no longer take it.

This essentially meant that his gamble had failed and that he was now stuck in Gojo’s body. Since then, fans have never received any updates on Yuta, and the future of his character is uncertain. This is true in JJK Chapter 268 when fans were finally graced with something about Yuta. It should be noted that due to the end of the war, fans were waiting for confirmation of his death. Instead they received a chapter where all that was needed was the reception to give them assurance that Yuta can still be saved but as to how that’s going to happen is still unclear. At least fans are aware that this must probably entail the handling of some intricate sorcery; however, how one goes about attaining this is still a mystery.

    Yuta’s Future: Will He Return?

During Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 268, the reader can expect that Yuta Okkotsu will be saved, although not in a conventional manner. He is at a Jujutsu facility right now, this means things are not looking too good for him and that his return is not going to be easy. This also means that sorcerers might need to gather their powers to save him and that is what the story is leading to from this point. If there’s one thing that fans can be sure of it’s that Yuta Okkotsu is going to live. The fact that the author wanted to kill him and that he has not yet died is an indication that he has to live and he will do so in one way or the other.

However, if the author truly values the growing bond between Yuta and Rika, then, it is quite expected that he will continue to travel back to his own body. This would enable Yuta to be someone on his own, and also enable Rika to work in one as well. This would be absolutely perfect for Yuta’s conclusion and it would also pave the way for many other exciting possibilities as well.

As for Yuta staying in Gojo’s body, that will never happen because Kenjaku’s technique was ineffective, which means that he can no longer use Gojo’s body. The body itself is useless to Yuta right now, and if he does stay in Gojo’s body, then the connection to Rika will be severed. This makes absolutely no sense at this point in time, which means that in one way or another, Yuta will likely get his body back in JJK chapter 269.

Gojo Satoru’s Return: Possible or Impossible?

Yuta’s return is inevitably tied with Gojo Satoru also returning as well. This is purely based on the fact that at the current time, Yuta is using Gojo’s body and his own body is dead. If Yuta could switch between the bodies and remain conscious even without the brain-hopping method which is true at the present time then it could not be refuted that it is also possible for Gojo as well. Gojo lost his lower body and because of it fans understood that it could not be healed permanently. However, after Yuta transferred into his body and it was stitched up, everybody understood that the reverse cursed technique would prove to be useful.

Using his power, Yuta healed all his injuries and made it so that Gojo is ready to get back on the battlefield. Now, Yuta is set to exit Gojo’s body, which implies that there is potential for him to come back as well. Concerning how that return should be possible, one would not have to look beyond the concept of souls in Jujutsu kaizen. Everyone for sure knows that body is soul in this series, so for sure Gojo should have a piece within him ready for the battle of life. As soon as Yuta is out of the body, Gojo could once again make him take over, and in the end, the strongest modern sorcerer would return, and Yuta would remain his student and successor.

All fans have to do is wait for 2 weeks, and with that readers will most definitely discover more about how Jujutsu Kaisen will handle the case of Yuta and Gojo.

Sukuna managed to corrupt Megumi’s willpower quite early during the Culling Game Arc when he switched places with him, and he realised that megumi’s body was a lot easier to manipulate than Yuji’s. Sukuna was still experiencing some opposition from Megumi, and that is why he had to take the soul bath and effectively sealed his soul for eternity. The deaths of Tsumiki also upset Megumi and caused him to lose his determination to live. At this time, Megumi had no goal to protect, and thus he immediately fell into the hands of the king of curses.

Since then, the sorcerers have been doing their best to rescue Megumi, which has become one of the most significant events in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, and the fans have loved all the developments in the rescue of Megumi to the degree Between Gojo and Sukuna, with which they were thrilled and which remains the best Fight in the Series , Yuji’s appeal in order to save a friend. From head to toe, everything was packed with excitement, and the fans were pleased that the author decided to spice things up regarding Megumi.

However, the downside of this approach was also very clear. From the position where Megumi was eliminated from the story for a long time, his character could only grow to a certain extent. Moreover, the advancement of his character Arc was also hampered to some extent, and if it was fine that JJK continues even further and this wasn’t the last arc, given the fact that this time soon, the Completion Series would be ending, it means that Megumi will only get further opportunities to improve as a character, and that’s the drawback of such an approach.

Fushiguro’s Emergence as a Powerful Force in Jujutsu Kaisen

As we already stated, in JJK chapter 266, fans should expect Megumi Fushiguro to awaken. This was not unexpected by the fans. Specifically, Yuji has been trying so desperately to get Megumi to awaken. The entire fight that he has here with Sukuna is to save his friend. Yuji has attempted before and felt short of the required standard. Even in Yuta’s territory, Yuji was very close to rescuing Megumi but he refused his hand and this meant there was nothing Yuji could have done.

Now, however, it is quite a different story. This is a nice scene because it also shows that somehow Yuji can land powerful attacks on Sukuna’s Soul. The Soul Dismantle was an absolute monster and even though it didn’t cause any skin breaking harm, the scars on the soul were revealing. This made Megumi’s soul become a little more independent from Sukuna and made it so Sukuna cannot stop Megumi from waking up. He even threw up three fingers, but some time later he had to eat them in order to regain control.

Fushiguro's Emergence as a Powerful Force in Jujutsu Kaisen

However, it is equally true that the power he has over Megumi is gradually diminishing and that is why Megumi has decided to resist his authority now. In JJK chapter 266, Yuji talked with Megumi. In this conversation, he said to Megumi that he cannot ask him to live because he knows the effects of trauma to people. But all he can say is that it would have been boring without him, without his conversations, without his voice, and laughter.

When Megumi hears these words, he decides to take action because he knows the value of a true friend and he does not believe that the future will be as bad as he previously thought. Megumi understands that there is still someone in this world who is trying to make it a better place. Megumi started to counterattack Sukuna brutally, and this also gave Yuji the opportunity to strike him heavily. Of course, things are not exactly handed to you on a silver platter. The battle with Sukuna is still going on, and against the king of curses, Yuji will surely need Megumi’s assistance if he will be able to defeat him for good. Megumi should be able to grant all the assistance that Yuji requires and sooner.

Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro’s Alliance Against Sukuna

Yuji and Megumi are likely to be the next two characters to go against Sukuna in the next chapters. In Sukuna’s case, the 10 Shadows Technique is ineffective, and Mahoraga is obliterated. But it was evident in JJK chapter 266 that Megumi does possess the 10 Shadows Technique. Due to this shadow, Sukuna’s leg was being consumed and Yuji managed to land heavy punches on him. Yuji even makes Sukuna refill the cursed technique that he burnt out and also make the domain reopen, which certainly doubles the difficulty for the King of the Curses.

Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro's Alliance Against Sukuna

Even more important, the more times Yuji can hit Sukuna, the less amount of influence he will have over Megumi. In the final stages of the game, Megumi will escape from the influence of his captor and transform into a completely different man who is ready to fight. But that is where the topic of merger could be introduced. Sukuna can initiate the merge when he wants and when he does, it is likely that he would split from Megumi and become an entity on his own. When that happens, it will be the turn of Yuji & Megumi to stand and defend themselves against this monstrous force.

It is not going to be easy for them to pull off, nevertheless, those two should get a chance to shine together in the final act of JJK before the series is over. Since it is true and official that the series can now be said that it is at its very peak, fans are absolutely sure that characters like Megumi and Yuji are deserving of all the attention that they can get.

It is comfortable for fans to just wait for the JJK chapters in the following weeks and months and pray that the story provides the main characters with a happy ending. With that, Jujutsu Kaisen is most likely going to end soon enough, and fans can only hope that the conclusion is up to the mark.

How Yuji Acquired His Domain Expansion Against Sukuna?

Chapter 264 of Jujutsu Kaisen gave the fans the first glimpse into Yuji’s Domain Expansion and this moment was crucial to the entire series. Something which has been expected since 4 years, so, if the author is finally delivering it, it only means that the story is extremely close to the finale.

Yuji has now reached the point where he can effectively employ the absolute pinnacle of Jujutsu Sorcery, and this just goes to show. Not only fans marvel at Yuji accessing these powers but there is much more from him yet to come. The next chapter of JJK is expected to highlight what Yuji’s domain is all about, and fans are already eager to see its powers. However, there are a lot of fans who are unclear how Yuji’s domain manifested in the first place. Well, this is how it all happened for an individual who did not even have any Innate Technique initially.

The Link Between Sukuna and Yuji’s Domain Expansion

Right now, the only reason Yuji even has a domain expansion is Sukuna. When Yuji became his vessel, Gojo stated that he will end up absorbing that cursed energy and that the technique will be Sukuna’s own and Yuji. This was also supported by Shoko much later down the line when she also formed a similar idea. Audiences were expecting Yuji to get Sukuna’s ability at an earlier time but it only happened at a much later point in the series. Actually, fans themselves began feigning that Gojo’s hypothesis on Yuji acquiring these powers was untrue. However, everything finally began happening in the arc of the JJK, called the Shinjuku Showdown. Yuji developed a cursed technique that was most noticeable, which was later characterised as the Shrine cursed technique.

It was not only the fact that Yuji got Sukuna’s cursed technique, but at the same time, it was said that Yuji’s body was rather good at memorising things because it was once beside Sukuna’s host. Moreover, he must have been an extremely efficient sorcerer if he was practising said techniques and powers himself.

The Link Between Sukuna and Yuji's Domain Expansion

For example, Yuji used reverse cursed technique, barrier techniques and many other powers in which he did not have to think while performing in front of his enemy because Sukuna used them in his body and Yuji’s muscles already knew how these techniques worked. Nonetheless Yuji obtaining the capability to use the Shrine cursed technique was the foundation of him getting to know the Domain Expansion. He also has to remember that the technique he is using is not the same as Sukuna’s. Sukuna’s cursed technique targets nothing and everything that stands in front of him, while Yuji’s scissor-like marks refer to precise blows. However, let me assure you that the technique, in its basic concept, is the same.

The Impact of Yuji Itadori’s Training Under Kusakabe During The Timeskip

However, there is more to the picture of Yuji using this Domain Expansion than just him having learned the Shrine technique. For an individual to execute a Domain Expansion, the concerned person should be proficient in barrier techniques or else, should be aware of how exactly barrier techniques can be employed.

Up to this point, Yuji was completely inexperienced concerning any type of barrier techniques. When the time skip of JJK occurred, shortly before Shinjuku Showdown Arc, Yuji trained with Kusakabe, which fans know to use New Shadow Style, so things like simple domain. He even used this technique masterfully in his fight with Sukuna, and there’s no doubt it was absolutely perfect. In this period, Yuji could switch bodies two times. He did so once with Yuta and once with Kusakabe. He was trained in Simple Domain and possibly other barrier techniques as well.

The Impact of Yuji Itadori's Training Under Kusakabe During The Timeskip

Not only that, Yuji had shown a simple domain during his battle with Sukuna earlier on. Upon the return of his domain, Sukuna went on a rampage firing a storm of Malevolent Shrine at everyone around him including other sorcerers. Yuji could endure this 99-seconds domain from the simple domain that Kusakabe taught him. Without this technique, it would have undoubtedly been game over for Yuji.

However, fans also know that Yuji was able to perform this fantastic feat, and now, quite a ways later, this very class of ability is helping him fight against Sukuna. Connecting the dots, it becomes easy to understand how Yuji was able to pull off Domain Expansion.

    A Game-Changer: Yuji’s Domain Expansion

Yuji used the concept of Domain Expansion in JJK chapter 264. For those who do not know how this technique was manifested in the first place, all they need to know is that Yuji has the power of the Shrine cursed technique, which one must understand that Sukuna sort of bestowed it upon him, and second, Yuji learned how to cast barriers thanks to the training with Kusakabe. When these two abilities are combined, one gets an opportunity to trigger and engage a Domain Expansion.

However, that is something that remains challenging – to properly manifest a clear domain. For example, Megumi Fushiguro was capable of injecting his domain with his inherent ability, yet, he could only achieve an incomplete Domain Expansion. Of course, it is not easy to manifest a Domain Expansion, although Yuji was still able to do that, and there are two reasons for that primarily. The first is that Yuji was Sukuna’s ex-vessel. Since he was his host Yuji would know how to use Domain Expansion and most of it was probably just second nature.

    A Game-Changer: Yuji's Domain Expansion

Secondly, and most importantly, Yuji is a genius of sorts, himself. Yuji is not an individual to become underestimated, and it is because of his genius style of fighting that he got to unlock something that Megumi could not even bring to complete existence. Indeed, Yuji is an extremely powerful person when it comes to abilities, as well as being incredibly magnetic. Viewers realise that he has expanded into true Domain Expansion and that he will probably defeat the King of Curses in his territory.

Of course, what exactly falls under the powers of the domain that Yuji commands, fans have no idea about. To see that, fans will have to wait until JJK chapter 265 where the focus will be placed on Yuji’s fight against Sukuna in the domain. It appears that things are going to get rough from here and fans should expect an insanely intense fight, possibly the climax of the fight against the King of Curses. This battle has been nothing less than absolutely surreal and it needs a surrealist ending, which Yuji’s domain would provide in the next few chapters of the story. Let’s hope that the powers that this Domain Expansion holds will meet the expectations that the fans have for the story and demonstrate Yuji’s climb up the ranks of Jujutsu Sorcery by eliminating the King of Curses.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 265 Explained: Yuji’s Risky Gamble Against Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265 released earlier today and much like always fans were offered a mix of interesting and dull as per expectations. As for this week’s chapter, most fans anticipated the said chapter to be filled with action but to their disappointment the chapter was relatively low-key in the sense that it had no major revelations about the fight between Yuji and Sukuna .

It was interesting in some respects and, at the very least, it added some depth to Yuji’s character which fans are aware were otherwise missing. It is my hope that the author will use this after to create an epic fight scene pitting Yuji against Sukuna and at the same time, develop both these characters even further. However, quite a lot needs to be said concerning this chapter.

    Yuji’s Domain Revealed to Sukuna

As seen in the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, the fans got an opportunity to see Yuji open his domain. This was a move fans anticipated to occur at one time within the series, considering that Yuji is the protagonist of the show. Their battle was nearing its end and of course, it was expected that he would go on to activate his Domain Expansion and that is exactly what happened in the story. Yuji opened his domain and shocked the fans when he appeared at a train station. People thought that the station belonged to him and currently there is no clear idea of what belonged to him actually.

This was also clearly pointed out by Sukuna at the start of the chapter where he said that when sorcerers fight, they sometimes touch each other’s heart because cursed energy is created by humans. Sukuna also says this, and suggests that he believes it is something different. He questions Yuji if it is his domain but even Yuji is unclear of what this is all about.

    Yuji's Domain Revealed to Sukuna

As it is, there is no clear idea concerning the type of power being employed by Yuji. However, this ability seems to be somewhat different from a regular domain expansion because Yuji was able to create whole sceneries inside of his domain. From train stations, streets, parks to shrines, Yuji was able to bring Sukuna everywhere. In essence, it was clearly seen that about 80% of the chapter details him taking Sukuna around and, according to Yuji, it was to show their king the normal lives of human beings and the things they encounter.

Sukuna, considered an honour of a human, is defined by his position and the manner in which he dies. But to Yuji, these things do not mean anything. Once Yuji used to think that they are true but now he has realised that these things are not at all required to decide the value of a person. Thus, even the most negligible actions that a person performs in a day can be the reason for their living, as well as shape their lives.

That would be a life worth living and that is exactly what Yuji has realised. The readers were lucky to view 99% of the chapter with Yuji and his perspective shift in real life. This was an excellent portion of the story. Of course, in regards to what they can see in terms of the character development of Sukuna for the fans, that means they got nothing because they already know that no matter what Yuji does nothing is going to change and impact Sukuna in any possible way.

A Threat Issued by Yuji Itadori to Sukuna

Anyway, although Yuji did everything in his power attempting to make Sukuna change his mind and leave him alone this time, he was clearly frustrated at that. Sukuna, however, was not affected by any of it even though he knew exactly what Yuji had to say. His mind has not evolved and his lifestyle remains the same.

Sukuna still wants to do what he wants to do and in many ways, he was hoping that all the anger that Yuji had for him would not come to this. But, he was not fooled for long and figured out that Yuji was actually laughing at him, pitying him. Upon this realisation, he clearly asked him why that was the case and Yuji started to get back into his battle mode. He threatened Sukuna and ordered him to release Megumi and get back to his body. If he did not do that, then Yuji would go on to kill him.

A Threat Issued by Yuji Itadori to Sukuna

This was an absolutely unbelievable threat from Yuji, especially one given to the King of Curses. Essentially, Yuji is boasting that he knows what is necessary to eliminate the King of Curses and the necessary tool is, of course, his domain. If he does not agree, then he will bring out all the strength they have and vanquish him forever. Well, as one would expect, Sukuna did not remain silent upon hearing this.

The King of Curses took this personally and looked absolutely vile. He threatened the young man back and assured him that he would make him eat his words. Not only that but he would behead him and then go on to kill every single person that he holds there before him. Sukuna is not going to take these threats lightly and a battle now seems to be imminent in JJK.

Of course, as a setup chapter, this week’s Jump Kaiju was good and it focused a lot on Yuji’s character development. For Sukuna though, it was somewhat disappointing. But what fans know is that the chapter to follow is going to be absolutely sensational and will deliver an incredible battle between these two. It may even start in one chapter and end in the next or it may have different chapters dedicated only to it and either way it will be so interesting.

The Showdown: Yuji and Sukuna’s Ultimate Battle

When Sukuna and Yuji have their last conversation, this marks the end of their idea/word exchange. The series is now going to go back to fighting, and now, it is time for them to bring out the big guns. As for the aspect of what Sukuna can do, the fans are well aware of everything. All his successful strategies, capacities, and, most importantly, his indestructible willpower versus strong menace have been demonstrated by him.

The Showdown: Yuji and Sukuna's Ultimate Battle

Yuji on the other hand has to introduce new powers and he will do this in the upcoming scene of the series. Things are going to become increasingly thrilling for JJK enthusiasts up next, and they simply cannot wait to witness how the protagonist of the series develops further and whether he manages to meet the challenges that he once posed to Sukuna.

Some fans who were expecting expansion of Yuji’s domain got disappointed this week but it will be surprising to them any time. Of course, this fight between Sukuna and Yuji will be over very soon, so the next phenotype of the next strongest is near.

Understanding Nobara Kugisaki’s Cursed Technique and Skills In Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen was filled with action and anime fans witnessed two major character deaths in season 2. Nanami Kento is the first one and the second one is our tomboy character that you all have come to know and love, Kugisaki Nobara. Both perished at the hands of Mahito, but that in no way implies that they died without purpose.

Nanami was ripe for death and it was verified in Chapter 236 and the same as Nobara she also fulfilled her fate saying that her life shouldn’t be so bad after all. This kind of behavior can be explained by their warrior-like nature which is rooted in their cursed technique and other related skills. Teamwork is not a strong point with Nobara, who utilizes a cursed technique that even she came up with and an array of weapons that are unexpected. Now it is time to take a closer look at why Nobara is so interesting and analyze the principles of her Cursed Techniques.

    The Straw Doll Technique Explained

Nobara’s signature technique is the Straw Doll Technique, a traditional style passed down through her family. It might seem unconventional channeling cursed energy through a straw doll and nails but Nobara’s execution is anything but ordinary. Her cursed technique or method is also a traditional one and she learned it from her grandmother who said that it originated from the wara ningyo ritual of Japan but this girl is less than seventy years old and she says that she is a very modern woman.

    The Straw Doll Technique Explained

In essence, Nobara applies cursed energy for the tool set she has in her arsenal a hammer, nails, and the infamous straw doll to advance her attacks on the target. Fingers are blunt and nails are conductors of her ill-fated powers and she can direct it whichever way she wants. Since it is her natural cursed technique, she can use it both in her attacks and defense.

Nobara swings a hammer and the nails flies to the target with force, similar to bullets being shot out of a gun. Due to the cursed energy, the nails rise up off the wall it will then be simple to strike at them wherever is intended. Nobara combines this technique with two other abilities: Resonance and Hairpin.

    Resonance Explained

This is where Nobara’s technique gets truly interesting. If a part of the cursed spirit is separated from its body, like a severed limb, Nobara can attach it to the straw doll. This establishes a powerful resonance, allowing her to inflict critical damage on the spirit even if it’s out of reach

Resonance is Nobara’s signature move and the move she uses for basics to exorcise simple curses. She uses it to prevent curses from running away because as she has stated, she is capable of exorcising them no matter the location.

This move was very helpful to wear off her poison and consequently cause discomfort to Choso’s brothers Eso and Kechizu. Its Rot technique begins when their blood was spilled into Nobara. But that turned out to be true of themselves as well because the blood was connected to Nobara’s blood, which that technique needed.

After she shocked both brothers with Resonance over and over again, Eso was forced to shut down her Decay method to show that it was the perfect counter move for her. Not only objects but souls as well can resonate, which was proved useful when she was fighting Mahito in the Shibuya arc.

She was able to attack Mahito’s soul directly since she could use Resonance on his body; thus, she initiated the technique by using a nail to stab Mahito’s forehead.

Therefore a line of spikes stood up from Mahito’s chest when Resonance activated and impacted towards the full body. As a result, Yuji could fight against Mahito’s main body, he wasn’t  just powerless at all. Then the pain inflicted on Mahito’s main body was transferred to his twin who also was in a lot of pain.

    Nobara’s Hairpin Technique

Besides Resonance, Nobara employs another technique called Hairpin

Hairpin is actually the development of the Straw Doll technique, wherein she blows her cursed energy into nails, then throws them at the opponent. Although it may not appear to be planned, Nobara strategically positions them in a way that will warrant the most amount of damage on her rival.

    Nobara's Hairpin Technique in JJK

The primary function of Nobara’s hairpin is in the link with her cursed energy. In combat it is used as a remote detonator for the nails she infuses with her cursed energy. This is done with the snap of her fingers along with a message delivered to the massive amount of Cursed energy that runs through the nails. thereby creating huge explosions.

Nobara used this form of the technique against Eso; however, a superior version was used against Mahito where the nails were to be placed even more accurately than before. With that, along with Resonance, Nobara was able to render Mahito and his double unable to move.

Kugisaki Can Also Throw Black Flash

It is not just her cursed technique that is depicted as Nobara’s strength throughout this show. She is definitely not an amateur when it comes to fighting, she is fast, and has a quick response to any attack.

All these three techniques, as pointed out by the series, can be amplified further when Black Flash has been used because it puts the consumer in the zone of full adrenaline as like that of athletes. Delivering cursed energy within 0 is a powerful ability and a great way to take advantage of the rules about moving energy between targets. In less than one microsecond of a physical contact, it is capable of creating a space distortion called Black Flash known to few individuals. When a sorcerer does this, their dark curse illumination becomes black and the force behind it is roughly equivalent to a normal hit of the power of 2.5

Kugisaki Can Also Throw Black Flash

Kechizu becomes a near death state by Nobara utilizing Black Flash for the first time together with Yuji.

Standing out by her cursed technique, combat capabilities, and determination, the main heroine of Jujutsu Kaisen Nobara Kugisaki is a very useful addition to the universe. She is a reminder that sometimes, the greatest weapons do not have to be glamorous and when the spirit of creativity is added into the mix for combating evil then the world is a safer place.
