Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 265: Yuji's Risky Gamble Against Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 265 Explained: Yuji’s Risky Gamble Against Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265 released earlier today and much like always fans were offered a mix of interesting and dull as per expectations. As for this week’s chapter, most fans anticipated the said chapter to be filled with action but to their disappointment the chapter was relatively low-key in the sense that it had no major revelations about the fight between Yuji and Sukuna .

It was interesting in some respects and, at the very least, it added some depth to Yuji’s character which fans are aware were otherwise missing. It is my hope that the author will use this after to create an epic fight scene pitting Yuji against Sukuna and at the same time, develop both these characters even further. However, quite a lot needs to be said concerning this chapter.

    Yuji’s Domain Revealed to Sukuna

As seen in the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, the fans got an opportunity to see Yuji open his domain. This was a move fans anticipated to occur at one time within the series, considering that Yuji is the protagonist of the show. Their battle was nearing its end and of course, it was expected that he would go on to activate his Domain Expansion and that is exactly what happened in the story. Yuji opened his domain and shocked the fans when he appeared at a train station. People thought that the station belonged to him and currently there is no clear idea of what belonged to him actually.

This was also clearly pointed out by Sukuna at the start of the chapter where he said that when sorcerers fight, they sometimes touch each other’s heart because cursed energy is created by humans. Sukuna also says this, and suggests that he believes it is something different. He questions Yuji if it is his domain but even Yuji is unclear of what this is all about.

    Yuji's Domain Revealed to Sukuna

As it is, there is no clear idea concerning the type of power being employed by Yuji. However, this ability seems to be somewhat different from a regular domain expansion because Yuji was able to create whole sceneries inside of his domain. From train stations, streets, parks to shrines, Yuji was able to bring Sukuna everywhere. In essence, it was clearly seen that about 80% of the chapter details him taking Sukuna around and, according to Yuji, it was to show their king the normal lives of human beings and the things they encounter.

Sukuna, considered an honour of a human, is defined by his position and the manner in which he dies. But to Yuji, these things do not mean anything. Once Yuji used to think that they are true but now he has realised that these things are not at all required to decide the value of a person. Thus, even the most negligible actions that a person performs in a day can be the reason for their living, as well as shape their lives.

That would be a life worth living and that is exactly what Yuji has realised. The readers were lucky to view 99% of the chapter with Yuji and his perspective shift in real life. This was an excellent portion of the story. Of course, in regards to what they can see in terms of the character development of Sukuna for the fans, that means they got nothing because they already know that no matter what Yuji does nothing is going to change and impact Sukuna in any possible way.

A Threat Issued by Yuji Itadori to Sukuna

Anyway, although Yuji did everything in his power attempting to make Sukuna change his mind and leave him alone this time, he was clearly frustrated at that. Sukuna, however, was not affected by any of it even though he knew exactly what Yuji had to say. His mind has not evolved and his lifestyle remains the same.

Sukuna still wants to do what he wants to do and in many ways, he was hoping that all the anger that Yuji had for him would not come to this. But, he was not fooled for long and figured out that Yuji was actually laughing at him, pitying him. Upon this realisation, he clearly asked him why that was the case and Yuji started to get back into his battle mode. He threatened Sukuna and ordered him to release Megumi and get back to his body. If he did not do that, then Yuji would go on to kill him.

A Threat Issued by Yuji Itadori to Sukuna

This was an absolutely unbelievable threat from Yuji, especially one given to the King of Curses. Essentially, Yuji is boasting that he knows what is necessary to eliminate the King of Curses and the necessary tool is, of course, his domain. If he does not agree, then he will bring out all the strength they have and vanquish him forever. Well, as one would expect, Sukuna did not remain silent upon hearing this.

The King of Curses took this personally and looked absolutely vile. He threatened the young man back and assured him that he would make him eat his words. Not only that but he would behead him and then go on to kill every single person that he holds there before him. Sukuna is not going to take these threats lightly and a battle now seems to be imminent in JJK.

Of course, as a setup chapter, this week’s Jump Kaiju was good and it focused a lot on Yuji’s character development. For Sukuna though, it was somewhat disappointing. But what fans know is that the chapter to follow is going to be absolutely sensational and will deliver an incredible battle between these two. It may even start in one chapter and end in the next or it may have different chapters dedicated only to it and either way it will be so interesting.

The Showdown: Yuji and Sukuna’s Ultimate Battle

When Sukuna and Yuji have their last conversation, this marks the end of their idea/word exchange. The series is now going to go back to fighting, and now, it is time for them to bring out the big guns. As for the aspect of what Sukuna can do, the fans are well aware of everything. All his successful strategies, capacities, and, most importantly, his indestructible willpower versus strong menace have been demonstrated by him.

The Showdown: Yuji and Sukuna's Ultimate Battle

Yuji on the other hand has to introduce new powers and he will do this in the upcoming scene of the series. Things are going to become increasingly thrilling for JJK enthusiasts up next, and they simply cannot wait to witness how the protagonist of the series develops further and whether he manages to meet the challenges that he once posed to Sukuna.

Some fans who were expecting expansion of Yuji’s domain got disappointed this week but it will be surprising to them any time. Of course, this fight between Sukuna and Yuji will be over very soon, so the next phenotype of the next strongest is near.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263: A Glimpse of Hope? Reviewing the Angel’s Attack on Sukuna

This chapter starts with Unlimited Void’s domain barrier being destroyed. Once more, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga takes fans by storm with spoilers for Chapter 263, and this 19-page chapter appears to be nuts! Well, that being said, let us dive into the spoilers right away.

So, based on the spoilers, it is seen that the first part of the chapter focuses on the destruction of Unlimited Void’s domain barrier. Sukuna again appears but the skin has been peeled off from his body. Even the Malevolent Shrine’s barrier that he deployed was also dispelled at the same instant according to him. According to Sukuna’s thoughts, Yuta pulled it off, though Gojo’s final technique is the Hollow Purple, Yuta has no abilities in using it.

Todo and Yuji spot this as a chance to help, and jump in to do so. Todo requests Yuta to flood as many Hollow Purples as he can, and they would avoid ever using it by the power of his Cursed Technique. Yuji hasn’t opened his mouth and is entirely on the mission of eliminating Sukuna for the moment.

Yuta loses control of his technique

Hollow Purple becomes a double-edged sword. Unexpectedly, JJK chapter 263 fans never saw Yuta discharging the Hollow Purple. In the beginning of the chapter, the domain is shattered and Sukuna has been affected by the said attack. Sukuna even clearly said that Yuta has nailed the Hollow Purple, the only reason he could not do it properly and control it was because he is not too familiar with the technique. Thanks to that, he was able to carry on and move forward. On the other side, Naoba was dormant in Gojo’s body but willing to come out and fight some more.

Yuta hence paired up with Todo and Yuji The strategy here was very simple. Todo would continuously cycle his Boogie Woogie as much as possible to trade it and then Yuta just needs to spam as many Hollow Purples as possible to deal with Sukuna. The strategy was perfect and could have essentially defeated Sukuna if not for the fact that he had more plot armor. However, it never got to that level.

Yuta loses control of his technique.

He fainted before Yuta and the others even pulled off the strategy. This was just because of the time limit, which has just ended and Yuta cannot apply his Copy technique in this round any more. He straightforwardly pointed out that Rika does not possess Gojo’s body in the form of a ghost, and because of that, he lost the Copy of the technique.

Moreover, Yuta also expected that even when the Copy technique was over, he could freely use the cursed technique stored in Kenjaku’s hand. It has also been seen to be actually incorrect in JJK chapter 263. Yuta can use this technique to no avail and now, he just couldn’t move at all. Nevertheless, Todo was also the first to notice that Yuta has been exhausted and realizing that, from this moment on, the further fighting was done by Yuji and Todo only.

This was such a great loss for the sorcerers mainly because they were almost close enough to eliminate Sukuna.

Itadori Yuji goes all out against Ryomen Sukuna

While Yuta was lying down and waiting to be rescued, Yuji and Todo gave each other their very best. Sukuna immediately countered with a black flash on Todo, while the latter was also placing heavy pressure and even while taking quite a lot of damage he was not bothered. Todo was actually demonstrating his enhanced cunning in combat and then chose to employ the shards that were lingering in the air after Yuta’s domain was destroyed to freely switch around. He could design many opportunities for the battle against Sukuna. Indeed, as fans would have understood by now, Sukuna cannot follow the swap at all and there is no way that he could ever try to adjust to it.

This was evident again in JJK chapter 263, Todo created havoc to the King of Curses. Fights could be changed multiple times in 1 second and with that Yuji managed to deal with some heavy hits to the King of Curses. Sukuna never saw this coming and to the amazement of the fans, Yuji used a new strategy on Sukuna. He was able to nail Dismantle after Dismantle on his soul, and this was basically astonishing to the fans.

Itadori Yuji goes all out against Ryomen Sukuna

In more detail, he assaulted a barrier between Megumi’s and Sukuna’s souls which would enable him to diminish the control that the antagonists had over his friend’s body. Arguably, Sukuna was scared by this and he even gestured by using some fingers. He admitted to the fact chieftain, if this continued, then he would no longer have command over her body, let alone the fight. But he could eat them again and at the same time go on fighting.

In this case, it was Todo that held the solution to all of it. Without him, Yuji would not have been able to land all these punches to Sukuna and the battle could be over already. Todo is the MVP of this last battle and that cannot be argued.

Angel descends, Jacob’s Ladder attacks Sukuna

Although Sukuna was able to witness this technique through JJK 263, he attempted to observe and monitor Todo’s swapping technique. Of course, it was impossible for him to know what he would barter and how exactly he would do it. However, at the very least, Sukuna could ready himself for the swaps and pray that he would be at least contributing to bolster himself up. Despite the fact that he attempted to destroy Toto’s Vibraslap, the swapping never halted in the slightest.

Angel descends, Jacob's Ladder attacks Sukuna

Everything that remained in Todo’s possession was used to resume swapping and it was absolutely fantastic for the fans to see a final great swap pulled by him. This time, he exerted much of his curse power, increased the extent of the strategy, and reduced the rate of the swaps he could perform per second. Thus, Todo was able to call someone completely opposite of him on the battlefield.

This oversight ended up biting Sukuna in the back because, while he was focusing on the target directly in front of him which was Yuji, he also did not realize that todo could also use that ability on anyone else on the battlefield. This person was none other than Hana who was replaced with a shard of the Yuta’s domain right above Sukuna’s head. From there onwards, she directed the Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder onto Sukuna once more – and it was beautiful. Sukuna has no defense for this technique now and fans explicitly can see this technique hit him.

Now, the King of Curses shall be released and the fan service is going to be happy; truly, fans are going toward the last phase of this battle. It might just be clos- er than one could imagine and fans might be able to witness a defeated Sukuna having to rely on that power the next time around.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 262.2 Review: Yuta Fights Back Against Sukuna’s Domain

    Spoiler Alert !!!

The wait is over! Yes, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262.2 is here, and as expected fans could not wait to get back into the manga following its four-week break. Initially due to the sickness of the author, Jujutsu Kaisen had an unforeseen and an even longer hiatus. Fortunately, the series returns after a month of break! JJK chapter 262.2 has made every reader of the story excited and fans can only hope to welcome their favorite manga with a super chapter.

In regards to JJK chapter 263, you should know that it has been officially confirmed and will be released later this week. It also means manga fans can welcome their anime again though it will for sure be one which will meet and exceed all their expectations. With the confirmation of the release date now that means Yuta and Sukuna can go again aggressively and have an entertaining fight in Shinjuku.

Domain War 2.0! Yuta vs Sukuna Again

Because the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen is short and raw, the fans predict that at least the next chapter can be similar in terms of treatment. JJK 263 could end up being a very short chapter and at the same time advance the growth of some aspects at a very fast pace. Where fans could have watched an even longer fight between the likes of Yuta and Gojo, the fight might be shortened in the next chapter.

That domain conflict has started only in the previous chapter and both the fighters have stated their objectives rather clearly. Similarly in the case of Sukuna, the objective is to continue applying pressure from the outer layer of the domain so that it cracks. Once that occurs, he is going to take over an even greater area and exterminate anyone who is within it.

If Sukuna can get through to Unlimited Void, this plan is almost certain to succeed. Instead, Yuta’s strategy is to be able to make enough damage on Sukuna from the inside so he will not be able to sustain Malevolent Shrine.

Domain War 2.0! Yuta vs Sukuna Again

If he does that, he can then give a clean sweep on the King of Curses and would push through a weakening blow in battle. Yuta can also win the battle in effect this way as well, although it is not the most conventional approach in any way. Fans will have to wait for the turn of this fight in the subsequent chapter; nevertheless, for the most part, they should continue to expect a fight within the domain. It will be mostly focused on cursed techniques and hand-to-hand combat, as was the previous chapter with the exception of the last chapter, of course.

Before that in Sukuna vs Yuta, where he shocked him by using domain amplification that he had deployed. Now, in JJK chapter 263, Yuta will be on duty, and supporters will be able to witness his more active participation in the battle using tricks like ‘Blue’, ‘Red’ and others.

Expect more rugged scenes within the domain, and there are also good chances Sukuna will be receiving a good deal of pressure in the upcoming episodes. Because Yuta was given only 5 minutes, before he, perhaps, gets to die, he has to do enough so that the fans are pleased with him.

Clues to Rika’s Fate in JJK 263

In the later part of the last chapter Rika was even shown crying in sadness. This will probably be discussed in JJK chapter 263 as well. The third is that I believe Rika will be involved in the plot in some way further on. At the moment she is emotional after losing Yuta. The preceding chapter more or less meant that while Yuta transfers to Gojo, Rika does not stay with him, at least not at the moment. She is more involved than Yuta’s own body and regards him as a dead person, hence she is mourning. If Yuta is allowed to be with his body and go to his body for eternity, then he will lose Rika forever as of the current situation.

If Yuta dies then so will Rika but if she will be alive then she will rampage in the battlefield and attack Sukuna if he is still alive. Thus, if Yuta remains in Gojo’s body, maybe Rika could also attempt to develop a bond with Yuta in some way. However, the future which is established here, could just as well be the one where Rika just dies as soon as Yuta does. Readers are again going to start speculating how the author will address this issue and going by the way it has been pointed out in the previous chapter, expect it to be heavily discussed.

Clues to Rika's Fate in JJK 263

Perhaps JJK chapter 263 may provide more understanding of such a fragile state. Perhaps, fans will only receive this answer once they have waited for 5 minutes that belong to Yuta. Because, after that 5-minute time, Rika cannot be fully manifested. The only possible outcomes are either she dies with him, Yuta, or she ends up finding Sukuna.

That there is a third possibility Although the probability of this might be slim. But if by some miracle Yuta gets back to his own body, Rika and he would live their happy lives or at least have a happy ending, though there are many anti-climactic endings in the series and in the JJK manga.

Yuta and Sukuna’s Domain Showdown Reaches its Climax

Assuming that the domain battle is expected to last for less than 3 minutes, it is very possible that fans shall be gifted with the result in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263. This is especially true, in this case, if the author has to bring the story to a close quickly due to ill health. Audiences may not get to watch the fight that they wanted to see, they are provided with a small fraction of the blows being thrown and then the domain clash conclusion. If that is true, then readers may find out who from these two characters is going to be the victor of the encounter in JJK chapter 263.

But if the domain does break then the fans should know that Yuta will be left with something less than 2 minutes, thus he would be close to defeat.

In total, these 5 minutes could be enough to end this domain clash in the favor of Yuta if he is capable of delivering a solid Unlimited Void on Sukuna. It is apparent that he has vengeance on his mind, and even if the time is running out, the probability of him dealing that final axe blow increases. The viewers should expect to see Yuta deliver heavy blows to Sukuna through Gojo’s body using Unlimited Void and sufficiently debilitate the character in question to the point where his defeat becomes a reality before the clock runs out. In this way, Yuta Okkotsu will have contributed to the victory and either Sukuna will lose to him or Yuji and Todo will be able to defeat him after the end of the domain battle.

JJK chapter 263 is going to be absolutely massive either way and fans will definitely get to see major advancements in regards to this massive fight.

Gege's Health, JJK Hiatus Continues with Revised Return Date

Gege Akutami’s Health Improves, But Jujutsu Kaisen Hiatus Continues with Revised Return Date

The Jujutsu Kaisen, a dark fantasy manga series that has become globally popular, has recently run into a hitch. Everyone was waiting for the following chapter and in June 2024 they were given a spectacle of emotions. However, the news about the creator’s health improvement was followed by the word about an extended break, which put a temporary damp on the fans.

Since its creation, Jujutsu Kaisen has truly been a product of Akutami’s imagination. Due to the series’ well-written text, the characters are engaging and complex, while the artwork greatly contributes to the visual appeal to readers worldwide. However, the weekly serialization of manga may prove to be tiresome for manga creators.

Author’s Health Recovery Remains Top Focus

In June 2024, the magazine Weekly Shonen Jump, where the Jujutsu Kaisen serial is published, told about an unplanned pause that was caused by Akutami’s health issues. This news, although somewhat disheartening, could be accepted by fans of manga series, who care for the mangaka, who creates their favorite works.

The fans recently received a new update which gave some hope to the team. The editorial committee that handles Jujutsu Kaisen published a statement that announced the improvements that the author Akutami had shown in the process of rehabilitation. This positive outcome was highly appreciated among the fans of Jujutsu Kaisen series. However, the statement also emphasized a vital point: It is for this reason that Akutami’s complete recovery is a must. New headlines such as, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen to return when Akutami is good as new’ demonstrate the admirable concern for Akutami’s well-being among the editorial team.

    Here is the full statement:

“Although Akutami sensei’s health has improved, after consulting with the editorial staff, we have decided that he should resume writing when he is in perfect health. We appreciate your continued support for Jujutsu Kaisen”

    Support Within a Community

The amazing fans of Jujutsu Kaisen have been very considerate and supportive in this regard. Many have rushed to social media to congratulate Akutami or to wish the author the best of luck for the anime version of the series. It’s obvious that every fan is willing to wait endlessly for Akutami to come back to give them their best as the anime deserves. Thus, the huge support shown here demonstrates the connection between the Jujutsu Kaisen followers and the personality behind it.

Can the Jujutsu Kaisen Universe Withstand the Impact

As for the exact return of Jujutsu Kaisen, it still remains unknown to this date. On the positive side, whether this news is accurate or not, fans have Akutami’s word that their fight is improving, but of course, fans should brace themselves for at least a few more months of waiting. It is for this reason that the delay will in one way or the other have a bearing on the release of the next chapters and may even compromise ensuing volumes. But a well rested Akutami is healthy and good for the long run and so fans will have to do without seeing their latest chapter for a week or so.

Meanwhile, the Jujutsu Kaisen fans can participate and interact with this universe through the following ways. Several activities can be useful to continuously fan the flame of passion for Jujutsu Kaisen, such as, rereading favorite chapters, researching characters deeper, and drawing fan-art. Moreover, the anime series based on Jujutsu Kaisen is great to watch to recap the story or get acquainted with the universe that Akutami built.

Focus on a Healthy Comeback and a Brighter Future

However, making sure that Akutami gets well to the fullest extent is what will guarantee Jujutsu Kaisens steady and healthy comeback for more episodes. This break is not only for the creator’s self-care but also to show the increasing awareness for the manga creators’ welfare in the manga business. For the Jujutsu Kaisen, it looks like the better days are ahead, and we will soon be able to see great fights, using the potential of the characters, and stunning artwork from Akutami. Until then, Jujutsu Kaisen fandom remains wishful as it extends its well wishes to Akutami to get well soon and come back to the world he or she created.

Sukuna’s Twin and the Birth of Yuji Itadori Explained, Jujutsu Kaisen’s Greatest Mystery Revealed

At the end of the chapter 257 of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime, it was revealed that there was a mysterious connection between Sukuna and Yuji Itadori. The fandom has long been waiting for the revelation of these facts, and this new information completes the story and makes it more meaningful.

Sukuna and Yuji have been linked to one another since the first Jujutsu Kaisen episode. Although pretty much everyone would have died when they consumed Sukuna’s finger, Yuji lived and even to a certain extent could suppress the King of Curses. Nobody knew for sure why Yuji could do that, and everybody had his own hypothesis, until the truth was finally revealed.

Yuji is the child of the reincarnation of Sukuna’s twin brother, Jin Itadori’s, and his mom who was Kenjaku’s host body.

A Tale of Twins: Sukuna’s Other Half

This chapter presents a flashback of a discussion between Sukuna and Uraume during Gojo’s hollow purple on the rooftop. During their conversation, Uraume asks why Yuji Itadori was special to Sukuna because while she had laughed at him before, there was something about the boy that was similar to Sukuna.

The King of Curses says this to her, specifying that he is Kenjaku’s son and that Kenjaku wouldn’t keep a child for no reason.

Next is Sukuna’s statement that Kenjaku also had a kid with the reincarnation of his twin brother.

He mentions how he ate the twin brother in the womb when he was hungry else would have starved to death because his mother could not afford to eat.

    Yuji from JJK

Moreover, it is revealed by Sukuna that he was disregarded by both his parents, which explains how he found himself on this road towards the King of Curses.

The Sukuna reveals that his twin’s soul used to drifting about through centuries, being randomly reincarnated over and over.

However, Sukuna gives nor explanation neither about how Sukuna’s twin’s soul ended up inside of Itadori Jin neither about who has performed this action. Nevertheless, it is very probable that this has something to do with Kenjaku.

The Curse of Twins: Twins and Their Ominous Significance in the Jujutsu Universe

In the jujutsu community the twins are considered very ominous and portentoius. When twins are born into a family of jujutsu, they will never develop themselves to their maximum capacity. The twins’ Mai and Maki Zenin exhibits what it means to be a twin from the moment they were born.

Maki could not grasp the full force of the restriction on her heavenly power as she still had the cursed energy in her body. Mai could use divine technique a day at a maximum due to her weak energy levels and so it would be useless to.

Basically, Sukuna eating his twin in the womb is one of the reasons why he is so powerful. Conversely, it might also be the complete opposite in that the act of him consuming his twin is what ultimately kills him off, the very circumstance which yielded the existence of Yuji Itadori. Sukuna’s twin’s reincarnation led them up and down for a while until they found Jin Itadori. Jin put together with Kenjaku, who had invaded Yuji’s mother’s mind, formed a person who possessed the ability to finally exterminate Sukuna. Yuji was born a vessel for the King of the Curses, but he was a lot more than that.

Although we still have some mystery concerning Sukuna’s twin. If Kenjaku just kept searching and ended up having a lucky shot by chance of finding and placing Sukuna’s twin soul into Itadori, or if it just happened to be randomly provided to Jin. The bloodline of Itadori is something weird, too. What about Itadori’s bloodline? Are they the direct descendants of Sukuna? If it were to be like this, then the reason behind inserting Sukuna’s twin’s soul in Jin Itadori would be clear.

    Yuji’s Connection to Sukuna’s Legacy

In this way, Yuji is a son of Sukuna’s twin’s reincarnation, but what is the essential of that? On the first hand, it fully clarifies the mystery that Yuji is the only one who is able to control Sukuna inside him whereas no one else could do it.

He is a person who supposed to serve as Sukuna’s vessel, but it is it also that deducts the fact that he had been able to consume the death womb paintings.

As the chapter continues, the reader finds out that Yuji could manage to use the other cursed technique of Sukuna, namely the shrine, and manipulation of blood as well. Gojo predicted that Yuji will shortly uncover the cursed technique of Sukuna, but now he uses two cursed techniques: he gets Sukuna’s shrine technique and the Fuga flame from him.

One can observe that Sukuna and Yuji gradually share many similar physical appearance, techniques and abilities and this is strange but their powerful bond through Kenjaku and Sukuna’s twins explain why they’re so similar.

The Flame Awakens: Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 259 Review and Sukuna’s Divine Flames Explained

In chapter 259 of Jujutsu Kaisen which was released today the incredibly intense battle in Shinjuku continued. This chapter that we have read this week was really superb and a bit different from the others. For one thing, the fight centred on Sukuna’s Divine Flame, which was combined with the death of yet another favourite character of the series.

It has finally happened, and these fires now have a significance of their own. At last, fans clearly understand from what source these flames arise, how these flames are related to Sukuna’s cursed technique, and how powerful they ultimately are.

Next, came the return of a well-liked character who has become close to fans’ hearts. Although not the best in this arc, it is definitely a great chapter that will take us all closer to the end of this series. This chapter will mark our step towards an amazing battle!

The Fires of Sukuna’s Kitchen: Malevolent Flames and Furnace of Sukuna Explained

The first thing fans should bear in mind is that Kamino may be read as the Japanese word Kamado which means a traditional stovetop. The stovetop has flames, and narratively it means that Sukuna’s flames are from the stovetop. “Kamino” can be another way of saying “God’s” .

By this I mean either “God’s Stove Top” or “God’s Flames”. Though Sukuna’s ignition of Kamino/Kamado flames makes sense in relation to his abilities he has, there is a deeper meaning of this that surely becomes clear for those who observe him using them closely enough.

In order to realise what it is about, fans are to go back to JJK season 2, where Sukuna’s domain expansion is called Malevolent Kitchen, instead of Malevolent Shrine.

The Fires of Sukuna's Kitchen: Malevolent Flames and Furnace of Sukuna Explained

The translation of Sukuna’s domain expansion into Japanese is “Fukuma Mizushi” and in Kanji, it is written as 伏魔御厨子. Fukuma has two kanjis, one is almost identical to the sign of prostration, and the other can be “-ma” which means the same as “Akuma” (demon) grammatically. This put the bad element of the expansion in the area that is so clear because it either implies or means something bad.

However “mizushi” is the most interesting. The word “Mizushi” can mean the Shrine, but also come from “mizushi-dokoro” as this term was used to refer to the was the kitchen compound within an emperor residence in ancient imperial Japan. In the imperial palace’s kitchens, the food of the emperor was cooked.

Of course, Sukuna’s Domain Extension also has a shrine-like design, but the author might have used double meaning here because (mizushi) also means both things. The kitchen compound is congruent with Sukuna, because Sukuna is the baddest of all and his domain expansion is what cooks evil to begin with.

Furthermore, Sukuna’s all cursed techniques are borrowed from the kitchen. Accomplished by cleaving and dismantling, both approaches happen when the knife is held by the cook and its edge is being utilised.

While Dismantle is just a normal slice, on the other hand, Cleave is a strong slice or can say the power of Cleave depends on the toughness of the enemy. Secondly, you have either Kamino or Kamado. It is seen in the beginning that Kamado can be called a stovetop. In the kitchen, the fire is started by the stovetop.

    Skuna from JJK

The stovetop is that place from where the fire originates. Sukuna says “Fuga,” which means Open,” to tap into his flames. So he opens the knob of the stove to access it, to get the flames from where they occur. As a whole, Sukuna’s domain expansion can be compared to a kitchen of evil or Malevolent kitchen, which he can use to explore techniques of the evil world.

Ironically Sukuna is a chef; and even though he is a master chef of evil, he uses his infamous Cleave and Dismantle techniques, or evil flames from Kamado.

Sukuna’s BBQ: When Divine Flames Turn a Battlefield into a Cookout

In chapter 259, JJK finally saw Sukuna unleash the Divine Flame. This is something that fans had expected would happen in this chapter, and that was since he had started the preparation for this attack in the previous chapter.

The moment he swung his slashes at the sorcerers, Sukuna opened the door to the Divine Flame and tried to eliminate them. However, in all this, fans also got a “whys” of how Sukuna’s divine fire works first.

The author implies that, to become eligible to take the Divine Flame inside, Sukuna has to accomplish two things first: Cleave and Dismantle. Not until he enters the Common Chance with Cleave and Dismantle which is the Burning Flame can he have the ability to cook, the Divine Flame. Furthermore, the author tells that Divine Flame is strong but extremely slow and short in range.

This issue was a huge problem for Sukuna and because he couldn’t ignore it anymore, he wielded the Binding Vow that enabled him to overcome his weaknesses. Nevertheless, this skill was intrinsic and he could not use it now on other targets that were outside his domain. In short, he just restricted his Divine flame originally to a large territory, which is what he did in this chapter.

Away from his domains, he does not have an advantage over multiple targets either, because he will not be able to use Divine Flame as a ranged-area attack. However, this trick was very useful to Sukuna. That means inside his own territory Sukuna can annihilate all living creatures after reducing them into ash by employing the Malevolent Shrine at the first step.

Sukuna's BBQ: When Divine Flames Turn a Battlefield into a Cookout

In JJK chapter 259, it was also during the period that Sukuna scorched the earth with the power of the luminous flames. It is possible for the fans to see giant explosions within Sukuna’s domain, and the final scenes show the earth completely scorched. The level of his mastery of firepower was beyond description, I am almost sure of this being equivalent to Gojo’s Hollow Purple

Upon mention of Gojo, it was also noted that Sukuna was unable to use the Divine Flame even against Gojo. The Binding Vow was keeping changers of the part of the fish tank that had to be kept constantly during his fight with Gojo and so much that this could not be done by Sukuna because building the Binding Vow during this fight needed a lot of energy.

In addition, to be suitable for Gojo, her divine flame would need to skip Infinity and straight hit him. It did not just work in a general battle, but also here, when this attack was blocked by somebody who does not have Infinity.

Choso’s Sacrifice: Using the Last Bit of His Energy to Protect Yuji. Talk About Brotherly Love!

As soon as Sukhuna ignited the Holy fire, everyone present instantly knew that Yuji would live on. This is exactly the same reason that fans all knew early on that some sorcerers would end up surrendering their life for the main character, and that is precisely what happened.

Naturally, there was just one man who would dare that, and that was Choso. Blood-like sphere he surrounded Yuji with, was proof of one of the best things that ever happened in the given chapter. In the process of using his own body to shield his brother, outside forces took Choso out of the scene in one instant and he was completely dead. So the fans felt an emotional moment, but this emotion was also well prepared. There was no other way out for him other than this, but Choso’s defence can help him to emerge from this attack without even a scorch.

Choso's Sacrifice: Using the Last Bit of His Energy to Protect Yuji. Talk About Brotherly Love!

Choso had been a willing party in this and it was doubtful whether he could expend a few more words in the name of exchange of feelings. Choso apologised to Yuji for being a bad elder brother. But Yuji told him that he was there for him in his darkest times, isn’t that already more than anything?

Lastly, Choso went to the next life, probably for a reunion with Kechizu and Eso. He added that the apology is also for Yuki, because Yuki has been his inspiration during the entire time, and he has also directed his responsibility to Yuji to stop the very worst: Ryomen Sukuna.

Finally, Some Action: Aoi Todo Rolls Up to the Battle Scene in JJK

The big change for Jjk 259 was to stumble Yuji to the core of himself. Instantly he was aware that his brother was not there any longer as he stepped outside Choso’s domain. He, but, was most of the time scared: the fear that everyone he knew had also died. When he was on the verge of falling down on his knees, another figure, who appeared to be there to provide Yuji a helping hand, just showed up.

It was once again Aoi Todo, another person whom Yuji refers to as his brother. Fans had asked for Todo’s return even years before the story finally came out.

Todo said that he rescued all of them with his Boogie Woogie due to Mei Mei joining forces with him. As such, the others might now be safe too. Yet, he found Choso and Yuji to be at the point of the domain which is why they were not in his range given the fact that Choso lost his life.

Finally, Some Action: Aoi Todo Rolls Up to the Battle Scene in JJK

In any case, though, Choso’s main purpose in these events is to help Yuji bring down Sukuna, and he is now officially part of the fight for what is right. In fact it is highly interesting to see how this fight is going to balance out from here on and I really appreciate Todo giving Yuji the strength of steel.

What’s also great is the Sukuna’s inability to use his cursed power currently due to the fact that he would need some time before he can use the power of it once again. Now, the two powerful sorcerers have got the control.

However, Sukuna is going to get severely hurt here; this is going to be interesting to find out whether this is the only battle up next for him.

Gojo’s Back, Baby! Breaking Down His Resurrection and Survival in JJK Chapter 260

From the wrap up of chapter 236, fans of Gojo have had one constant prayer – the comeback of their beloved character, even if it is in some other form now.

Gojo Satoru died. That was equally hard to take in. Of course, after his death, a lot of hypotheses appeared online about how the strongest sorcerer at the moment could not have died by a simple slash from Sukuna.

These hypotheses were refuted and mocked by the non-believers (I also belonged to this camp once), as the current sentiment was that Gojo had indeed passed.

However, the cunning of the one-eyed cat cannot be always counted on.

Here, somewhere, again like chapter 236, Akutami has staged probably the nastiest surprise in JJK 260 – Gojo Satoru certainly is already back in fighting again.

By the news, where the hosts of the One Piece variety show themed were amazed to see a chapter that editor Junya Fukuda was editing. It is my assumption that this is what they must have seen!

Is Gojo Satoru Alive or Just Playing Dead? Let’s Find Out!

First, let’s rewind and let’s go through the scenario!

Spoiler leaks from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 260 that Gojo Satoru has risen and is again back to face Sukuna.

Nevertheless, an unforeseen shape appears beneath the settled dust in which the narrator states it to be the reflecting “ghost” of the strongest enemy Sukuna ever defeated.

Speaking of which, the character that portrays Gojo Satoru completely fits into the picture.

I believe that the word, Ghost was the metaphorical form of the narrator to mean that person. This is because, according to Sukuna, Gojo should not be alive!

Is Gojo Satoru Alive or Just Playing Dead? Let's Find Out!

And finally, a scene – an image depicting the half of the character’s face from above. I must say, he reminds me a lot of Gojo and his peculiar eye mark as well as the hair color. It’s a way of calling back to old times in which he, probably, has returned against Toji too.

The editor’s comments were like gasoline to the burning sensations. “It is impossible to ignore the eyes” adds to it.

Of course, it brings up a number of questions.

Sukuna had been the one to cut Gojo down with his world cutting slash. Since this is the key plot point, I am really curious about how Gojo managed to come back to life.

In the next chapter – we will get our answers! There is however nothing forbidding us from making some anticipations, though!!!

Gojo vs. Sukuna: How Did Gojo Pull off the Greatest Dodge of All Time?

Sukuna had finally managed to deal with that lethal cut and Gojo was literally cut in two by it. In the airport scene that followed, it seemed like Gojo had decided to ‘Go South’ meaning he was eager to die.

Yet, the portrayal of JJK 260 convinces the viewers that Gojo made a choice to proceed north or maybe even pushed since he was not the one who was supposed to make the decision.

Ui Ui & Shoko: Saving the Day, One Dramatic Entrance at a Time

In the latest chapters we have noticed that Ui Ui was an influential person in the struggle. His teleportation ability was also being used to evacuate the victims – those who have got hurt- far from Sukuna.

When Hajime Kashimo ran into the fight literally moments after Gojo got cut, a lot of fans noted that his body was no longer there. Eventually, we are seeing that Ui Ui was really lucky to get Gojo’s body back again.

With Shoko right next to him, more so than anyone else, he felt he had to be more careful. May be she has been a healer that Gojo needed deeply.

Nevertheless, the whole thing sounds very simple. However, whether it is simple or not is 10 times harder than apparently!

Ui Ui & Shoko: Saving the Day, One Dramatic Entrance at a Time

What bothered me the most was Gojo’s injury. It wasn’t something I could easily laugh away. Renewing your torso from the bottom of hours of struggle is far more challenging than healing the wounds of battle. I shall consider this as a scenario of inputting the enormous amount of cursed (unnatural) energy.

Of course, Utahime could have helped improve Shoko’s fluidity and speed, but could this just be a one-sided solution?

Although Gojo Satoru is involved in the same experiment, if his body isn’t able to accept the treatment, it can lead to serious consequences.

Supposing all of this works out smoothly, this could certainly be one of the options as to what Gojo was able to do to prevent Sukuna’s attack.

An Eye Lost: Gojo’s Got Some Serious Drama Going on with This Binding Vow Thing

The predominant and the very same theory in the fans since the binding vow has been the main explanation. This regards the theory that Gojo gave up his one of six eyes, which he traded for being able to restore his body.

The last visual from the chapter 260 of Jujutsu Kaisen narrating Gojo’s return appears to have elements which give more power to this theory because Gojo’s eyes had changed in it.

Gege often showcases lighter shades of the eyes in his characters all the time. Check it out below:

Moreover, in the chapter 260 panel, the eye shade is darker – thus, it illustrates whether he sacrificed the eye or the six eyes ability or it shows that he healed from his wounds by means of the sacrifice.

The main aspect which has contributed to this theory to be widely accepted is the foreshadowing done prior to this moment from the beginning of the novel. Remember Vivid Vice? The second appearance in season 1 of JJK?? That scene was all about foreshadowing and symbolic Gojo would lose his eye according to one of them.

    Gojo from JJK

The sun is coming through from his left eye in the depicted scene. It seemed to them a foreshadowing that the loss of an eye will happen to Gojo at some point in the future!

The identical left eye was used implicitly for foreshadowing in the initial scene of the JJK video game as well.

It’s very easy to guess the same left eye was colored with dark shade while she is in JJK chapter 260 has been hinted that Gojo did sacrifice one eye, or ability to use all the six eyes in order to complete her resurrection!

To discard his six eyes, the way Gojo compromises, could mean that he is not the strongest anymore – yet such a scenario would be a perfect ending to the rhetoric proposed by Geto years back.

Quite the strange thing wasn’t it? Had he been Gojo Satoru because he was the strongest, or was he the strongest because he was Gojo Satoru?

Well, if Gojo indeed is back, then things are set to get a lot more interesting in the upcoming chapters!!

Jujutsu Kaisen: Did Gege Akutami Run Out of Ink in Chapter 262?

The official release of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 262 happened and it turned out to be quite unexpected in many ways. This is because the plot didn’t even move forward much in this week’s chapter and that is due to the fact that this chapter was rather short. In fact, it might just be one of the shortest chapters in the series, if not the shortest of the short itself.

This has partly been due to the deteriorating health of the author who has suddenly fallen ill. Nevertheless, there are things that should be analysed in this chapter and others prepared for future books, which fans of the series are eagerly looking forward to. In summary, JJK chapter 262 was reasonable enough.

Yuta vs. Sukuna: The Rematch Begins!

It does not catch the attention of any fan as to why JJK chapter 262 focused a lot on the battle between Yuta and Sukuna. For those who have forgotten, Yuta went back to the fight and this time he is in possession of Gojo’s body. This was made possible by Yuta who was able to mimic Kenjaku’s cursed technique after he killed him. Subsequently, when he was defeated by Sukuna, Yuta employed his technique and transferred his soul to Gojo’s body instead.

This was one major twist on the series that a number of viewers had not predicted to happen. When Gojo’s body was captured on the battlefield, everybody presumed that Gojo was back, although he had indeed come back as the physical avatar, it was later revealed that the real controller of the body was Yuta. With no words at all, Yuta expanded his domain, and of course, inside of Gojo, the domain was the Unlimited Void. In response to that, Sukuna also expanded his dominion again, and once again, the fans provoked a battle between Malevolent Shrine and Unlimited Void again.

Yuta vs. Sukuna: The Rematch Begins!

The JJK chapter 262 was centred fully on that clash of domains. This fight would have been really tough for Yuta if he did not see this domain at work against Unlimited Void earlier. However, Gojo had already provided an answer to tackling this domain.

In other words, Gojo reduced the radius of the area he can control to a minimum, and this enabled him to reinforce the external shell to block Malevolent Shrine’s attacks for up to three minutes. Yuta did something similar, and he was confident that he could hold out for 3 minutes in Malevolent Shrine, especially since Sukuna was weakened.

Moreover, another interesting detail that could be mentioned is that Yuta actually switched with Gojo once during the story as well. This let him raise the level of barrier techniques and get used to the power of the Limitless cursed technique, of course, at the same time. On the whole, this was one of the very small pieces of information given in the chapter but now it has a lot of sense how Yuta can control this power as far as he did.

In the domain, people got to know that Yuta planned to eliminate the Malevolent Shrine and inflict damage on Sukuna before 3 minutes were complete and at that point, Yuta unleash Unlimited Void on Sukuna.

At the same time, Sukuna wants to apply the same concept to Malevolent Shrine by raising the power output as well as its effective range so that he can break through Unlimited Void. After that he wants to increase his territory and then murder all the people around him at the same time. Of course, only one gets to be the winner in this domain war and it would be fun to see who it will be.

Since Yuta and Sukuna were both physically present inside the domain, engaging in combat, fans were able to witness a significant amount of close-quarter fighting in the chapter. Yuta attempted using the power of Blue; however, Sukuna was prepared and nullified the ability with domain amplification.

This was quite an eye-opener for Yuta since he began to understand that Sukuna could do both at the same time, which is domain expansion and domain amplification. Therefore, he will be able to avoid the Limitless cursed technique power within the domain and Yuta will be in trouble.

    Rika’s Grief Over Yuta

Despite the fact that we were mostly shown fighting in JJK chapter 262 in between Yuta and Sukuna, fans also received a very curious panel of Rika. Of course, fans were previously wondering if Rika would be by the side of Yuta in fighting Sukuna. This chapter in the series confirmed, however, that this is not to be the case.

Rika is fully manifested, which is nice and dandy, but yes she is still confined to Yuta’s main body. In other words, it could translate into a relationship between the body and the soul; and therefore, Rika is mourning the real Yuta whose real body is a corpse.

    Rika's Grief Over Yuta

She was holding up the corpse of Yuta and as she cried, her tears were splashing all over his face. At the moment, the idea is that this moment will turn out to be important later on. It allows for the possibility of Yuta coming back since otherwise, Rika and Yuta are just going to get a bad ending. At the same time, if what Yuta is saying actually comes true and he dies after 5 minutes, Rika would get angry and Sukuna could be in a lot of trouble.

As for what is going to happen to Rika from here on, that is too unpredictable and fans are going to have to wait patiently to see what happens from this point forward then. That is just the tip of the iceberg; JJK is most definitely going to be incredibly exciting moving forward. However, the fan will have to wait for quite some time to witness at least some progress in the story.

Health First! Gege Akutami Takes a Break, JJK Goes on Hiatus

The biggest surprise in this chapter was probably the size of the chapter. In total, this chapter had one double-page spread, and this chapter was about 7 pages long. Well, that isn’t very much, and, generally, one chapter comprises approximately 17 pages at most. It is pretty much clear that the Author is ill and he will require some time to rest before he can continue with his write up.

As has been confirmed earlier in this article, Jujutsu Kaisen is going to return at the end of the month. Viewers have no choice but to go through the three weeks they have before them, the time can thoroughly be spent on the discussion of numerous topics and aspects in the series still untold.

The fans can only pray that upon the return of the series, the completion of the domain battle between Yuta and Sukuna happens or the series concludes this fight satisfactorily. Overall, the attack on Sukuna has become very long and now the reader wants to see the further development in some other manner.

It should not be long before that happens, especially knowing that the author wants to complete the series by this year alone. Before anything else, however, the author should regain his energy and sleep well before proceeding to the rest of the story.
