Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263: A Glimpse of Hope? Reviewing the Angel’s Attack on Sukuna
This chapter starts with Unlimited Void’s domain barrier being destroyed. Once more, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga takes fans by storm with spoilers for Chapter 263, and this 19-page chapter appears to be nuts! Well, that being said, let us dive into the spoilers right away.
So, based on the spoilers, it is seen that the first part of the chapter focuses on the destruction of Unlimited Void’s domain barrier. Sukuna again appears but the skin has been peeled off from his body. Even the Malevolent Shrine’s barrier that he deployed was also dispelled at the same instant according to him. According to Sukuna’s thoughts, Yuta pulled it off, though Gojo’s final technique is the Hollow Purple, Yuta has no abilities in using it.
Todo and Yuji spot this as a chance to help, and jump in to do so. Todo requests Yuta to flood as many Hollow Purples as he can, and they would avoid ever using it by the power of his Cursed Technique. Yuji hasn’t opened his mouth and is entirely on the mission of eliminating Sukuna for the moment.
Yuta loses control of his technique
Hollow Purple becomes a double-edged sword. Unexpectedly, JJK chapter 263 fans never saw Yuta discharging the Hollow Purple. In the beginning of the chapter, the domain is shattered and Sukuna has been affected by the said attack. Sukuna even clearly said that Yuta has nailed the Hollow Purple, the only reason he could not do it properly and control it was because he is not too familiar with the technique. Thanks to that, he was able to carry on and move forward. On the other side, Naoba was dormant in Gojo’s body but willing to come out and fight some more.
Yuta hence paired up with Todo and Yuji The strategy here was very simple. Todo would continuously cycle his Boogie Woogie as much as possible to trade it and then Yuta just needs to spam as many Hollow Purples as possible to deal with Sukuna. The strategy was perfect and could have essentially defeated Sukuna if not for the fact that he had more plot armor. However, it never got to that level.

He fainted before Yuta and the others even pulled off the strategy. This was just because of the time limit, which has just ended and Yuta cannot apply his Copy technique in this round any more. He straightforwardly pointed out that Rika does not possess Gojo’s body in the form of a ghost, and because of that, he lost the Copy of the technique.
Moreover, Yuta also expected that even when the Copy technique was over, he could freely use the cursed technique stored in Kenjaku’s hand. It has also been seen to be actually incorrect in JJK chapter 263. Yuta can use this technique to no avail and now, he just couldn’t move at all. Nevertheless, Todo was also the first to notice that Yuta has been exhausted and realizing that, from this moment on, the further fighting was done by Yuji and Todo only.
This was such a great loss for the sorcerers mainly because they were almost close enough to eliminate Sukuna.
Itadori Yuji goes all out against Ryomen Sukuna
While Yuta was lying down and waiting to be rescued, Yuji and Todo gave each other their very best. Sukuna immediately countered with a black flash on Todo, while the latter was also placing heavy pressure and even while taking quite a lot of damage he was not bothered. Todo was actually demonstrating his enhanced cunning in combat and then chose to employ the shards that were lingering in the air after Yuta’s domain was destroyed to freely switch around. He could design many opportunities for the battle against Sukuna. Indeed, as fans would have understood by now, Sukuna cannot follow the swap at all and there is no way that he could ever try to adjust to it.
This was evident again in JJK chapter 263, Todo created havoc to the King of Curses. Fights could be changed multiple times in 1 second and with that Yuji managed to deal with some heavy hits to the King of Curses. Sukuna never saw this coming and to the amazement of the fans, Yuji used a new strategy on Sukuna. He was able to nail Dismantle after Dismantle on his soul, and this was basically astonishing to the fans.

In more detail, he assaulted a barrier between Megumi’s and Sukuna’s souls which would enable him to diminish the control that the antagonists had over his friend’s body. Arguably, Sukuna was scared by this and he even gestured by using some fingers. He admitted to the fact chieftain, if this continued, then he would no longer have command over her body, let alone the fight. But he could eat them again and at the same time go on fighting.
In this case, it was Todo that held the solution to all of it. Without him, Yuji would not have been able to land all these punches to Sukuna and the battle could be over already. Todo is the MVP of this last battle and that cannot be argued.
Angel descends, Jacob’s Ladder attacks Sukuna
Although Sukuna was able to witness this technique through JJK 263, he attempted to observe and monitor Todo’s swapping technique. Of course, it was impossible for him to know what he would barter and how exactly he would do it. However, at the very least, Sukuna could ready himself for the swaps and pray that he would be at least contributing to bolster himself up. Despite the fact that he attempted to destroy Toto’s Vibraslap, the swapping never halted in the slightest.

Everything that remained in Todo’s possession was used to resume swapping and it was absolutely fantastic for the fans to see a final great swap pulled by him. This time, he exerted much of his curse power, increased the extent of the strategy, and reduced the rate of the swaps he could perform per second. Thus, Todo was able to call someone completely opposite of him on the battlefield.
This oversight ended up biting Sukuna in the back because, while he was focusing on the target directly in front of him which was Yuji, he also did not realize that todo could also use that ability on anyone else on the battlefield. This person was none other than Hana who was replaced with a shard of the Yuta’s domain right above Sukuna’s head. From there onwards, she directed the Maximum Output Jacob’s Ladder onto Sukuna once more – and it was beautiful. Sukuna has no defense for this technique now and fans explicitly can see this technique hit him.
Now, the King of Curses shall be released and the fan service is going to be happy; truly, fans are going toward the last phase of this battle. It might just be clos- er than one could imagine and fans might be able to witness a defeated Sukuna having to rely on that power the next time around.
